Novo Horizonte – Culture Manual

With the company’s rapid growth and increasing presence in the Alagoas market, the need arose to bring employees closer to its purposes, customs, rules, and principles, with the goal of making the team stronger, visions clearer, and aspirations more attainable for everyone. To align all of this, the Novo Horizonte Culture Manual was created, envisioned by CEO Alessandro Teixeira and developed by Orbe.

To present it to everyone and begin its implementation, a launch event was held in 2024, with Orbe participating in every stage of its development — from concept creation, branding, identity, and presentation, to the printed version of the manual, as well as the design of giveaways, t-shirts, and customized notebooks, backpacks, and squeeze bottles.

This event has since become a company tradition, with editions held annually. Orbe is always involved, covering the full-day event, which includes moments of learning, relaxation, and interaction among employees, helping them become more connected to the company’s goals and to one another. We also handle the post-event publicity, showcasing its outcomes.

From the Culture Manual, another parallel project emerged: Power Milk. This is a peer recognition system in which employees can write messages of appreciation, encouragement, or acknowledgment to colleagues, highlighting good actions they’ve taken. These messages are written on Power Milk paper, which has carbon copy sheets — meaning they produce duplicates. The original is given to the colleague being recognized, while the copy is placed in one of the strategically positioned drop boxes around the company, such as in the cafeteria and break areas.

The initiative aims to encourage generosity and recognition within the company. Employees who give and receive the most Power Milks are celebrated with awards, honoring their contributions to a more positive and collaborative work environment.
